Five academic schools, each with programs that challenge and inspire, are devoted to preparing students for success and happiness in today's ever-changing world. Our faculty are lifelong learners and passionate teachers, and our 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio ensures that you'll enjoy as close a student-teacher connection as you'll find anywhere.
School of Arts and Sciences
The objective of the School of Arts and Sciences is to afford a broad education in the cultural and scientific subjects.
While each department offers specific training in a particular subject to students desiring to major in that field, the arts curriculum as a whole is designed to acquaint the student with literature, art, language, history and philosophy, which largely form our cultural inheritance.
The science curriculum is designed to give a thorough education in the basic principles of the various sciences, as well as preparation for advanced study and research. Our Master of Social Work – Traditional Track program is available online through
St. Bonaventure University Online.
